CIHP Strengthens Workforce Capacity Through Intensive Clinical Mentorship Orientation

As part of an ongoing commitment to strengthening internal capacity and improving the quality of HIV service delivery, CIHP recently convened staff from Abuja, Lagos, Kogi, and Kaduna for a comprehensive Clinical Systems Mentorship (CSM) orientation. The multi-state gathering brought together clinicians, program officers, and technical leads for an intensive, skills-focused mentorship experience.

The structured CSM training was designed to equip staff with up-to-date knowledge, hands-on clinical skills, and enhanced mentorship techniques essential for sustaining high-quality services across CIHP-supported facilities. Through practical demonstrations, case-based learning, and expert-led sessions, participants gained a stronger understanding of evidence-based practices and effective strategies for guiding facility teams.

This is part of CIHP’s continued commitment to building a resilient, knowledgeable, and empowered workforce capable of driving service excellence and ensuring long-term sustainability of HIV care and treatment programs.
