Congratulations to our states of implementation; Lagos and Gombe for receiving awards in recognition of their Human Resource and Infrastructure support respectively.

The two-day CDC Biannual Program Performance Review meeting/2022 End of Project Cycle Symposium brought together stakeholders and implementing partners from all 19 PEPFAR supported states to discuss and review the HIV program progress in Nigeria, as supported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/the U.S President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

The event marked the end of a five year Project Cycle. For @cihpng, the event was a close-out/dissemination of its Partnering Effectively to end AIDS through Results and Learning (PEARL) project. During the meeting, CIHP received award of public Health Excellence for innovative approach to HIV case finding and linkage to ART.

Thanks to Dr. Mary Beth Leonard, U.S Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Funmi Adesanya, PEPFAR Deputy Country Coordinator, Dr. Mary Adetinuke Boyd, CDC Country Director, the entire CDC crew, the Federal government of Nigeria at all levels and NEPWHAN for the continued support.
